Hello, I'm Idalia! I've been nannying professionally for 5 years now, and doing childcare work since I was 15. For the past few years I've had the pleasure of taking care of some amazing kids. From infant care to toddler care, I've had my handful of experiences. My main care style is gentle-parenting focused on setting boundaries and working toward self-growth. Building up a child's self-esteem through emotional, self regulation is something I find very important. We'll work toward problem solving, practical life lessons, and self-regulating exercises. Idalia started with us in January 2021 when our son was 3 months old and will be with us until he is about 22 months old when we are moving. She is great with our son and he is happy in her care. Safe sleep was one of our big worries in finding a nanny and we felt confident that she understood the importance. She comes up with crafts and activities, gets on his level to play, and takes him on walks to our local park. We have an anxious doodle who loves her as well and will miss her very much. We know our son will too.
