Hello! I'm Ian and I'm here to help. I have 5+ years of teaching experience in elementary schools and college settings and am currently working at Mattawan Later Elementary. My passion for learning started at young age and I have been experience tutoring and teaching 3rd graders to high schoolers to adult ELL leaners for over 10 years now. I have also spent time as a camp counseling, youth soccer coach, and as a Teaching Assistant at Western Michigan University. The past year I worked in a 5th grade classroom and resource room and guest taught multiple grades (substitute teacher) for a number of school districts. Kids often juggle a lot during the very busy school-year and the summer is an excellent time to work on academic subjects, learn or re-learn materials that maybe haven't fully been mastered and get a leg up on test prep! I have experience in creating engaging lessons and using their interests and learning style to meet their individual needs.
