About Holly

I am a teacher in Manatee County Schools. I work in grades 6 to 8 special education. I have been a teacher for 9 years. I have certifications in Ela, special education, literacy, and K-6 education. I lived and taught a year in china but am not fluent in the language. I am a New York state and Florida state certified teacher. I love reading and sharing that love of reading with my students. I'd describe my personality as fun, outgoing, and understanding. I like tutoring because I wanted to help students achieve their goals. In my spare time, I like to read, watch tv, spend time with my husband and cats One thing you should know about me is I am a hardworker and will always do my best to help a student reach their goal. My skills include problem solving, communication and patience.
