Hi, my name is Holly! I have 2 years of experience with children and adults with special needs. Some of the disabilities that I've worked with include Schizophrenia, Bipolar, anxiety, OCD, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, ADD, ADHD, Autism, allergies, Mental Retardation, hearing impairment, Asperger's, and multiple types of developmental delays. I've had clients that needed assistance with bathing, drying, brushing their hair, applying lotion, putting on their clothes and shoes. I've also physically assisted clients to get from one place to another, due to their physical impairment. I've had clients who were physical, threw things, walked off, yelled, and slammed doors and etc. Clients have had those behaviors towards me and others, so I've had to break up fights. I've found that I have a sensitive spot for people with special needs, even with the ones who are physical. I'm patient, positive, understanding, reliable, thoughtful, honest, fun, reasonable, and kind!
