Hermie does not act professionally and we would not recommend that you hire her. After working for us for just four days, she decided to go back to her old job. Not only didn't Hermie give us two weeks notice, but she also told us that we would have to change her pay if we wanted to her to watch our father on Thanksgiving morning, a date that she had already committed to working. She knows that it takes time to replace a caregiver but she didn't care that she left our father without coverage. She knew that we would not be able to find another person to be with our father on a holiday morning before we picked him up, and she took advantage of us to extract more money than we originally agreed to. We're an easy family to work with and have great relationships with our caregivers - Hermie's behavior was surprising, unprofessional, selfish and certainly not deserved.
