About Helga

Hi families. Taking good care of people and places is my thing! I have 6 years experience teaching in a Montessori preschool, ages 2-5. I've made guiding children in a empowering manner a lifetime passion. I love taking them outdoors, silly times with song and dance, or exploring arts and crafts. I approach children with curiosity, respect, and love. I'd describe my personality as warm, dynamic, fun-loving. I like working with kids because our positive influence on them helps to make our world a better place. I started working with kids when I was a Girl Scout, reading to kids in afterschool care. Ultimately, I spent the last 6 years fine-tuning my caregiving skills in a Montessori preschool. In my spare time, I like to try new fitness classes, do arts and crafts, read, play with my two cats, and enjoy anything recreational on the water. One thing you should know about me is it's a privilege to care for your children. My skills include listening, intuition, play!
