About Helen

Hi, my name is Helen! I'm 23 and have recently taken a hiatus from school where I was studying Early Childhood Education. I enjoy the outdoors and playing all types of activities and sports, especially tennis and lacrosse. My experience working with children began when I was around 12, by babysitting families in my neighborhood. I also have worked for the YMCA for the last 3 years, varying from the Kid stuff to the Summer Power program. While working at the YMCA I've worked with children ages 6 months to 13-year-old. During those experiences, I have worked with children by creating activities, such as arts and crafts, indoor/outdoor games, food/science projects, to create a fun and enriching environment for the kids throughout the day. I am CPR and First Aid certificate as well! I also have all my PA background checks needed for school so if you would like to see those please let me know. I am also fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as of 04/23/21 and have my booster shot as of 11/15/21.
