About Helen

Hello! I have worked on an organic farm in Mendocino County for the past year and am now transitioning back into school life. I'll be resuming undergrad studies at UC Santa Cruz in the fall. My childcare experience is fairly informal but extensive. I am the eldest of 4 kids so there was lots of babysitting built into my childhood, and I had regular/longterm nannying jobs all throughout high school. I have cared for children of all ages. I am responsible, honest, and tolerant and care deeply about fostering children's curiosity and sense of wonder. I am strong and physically able and love connecting with kids outdoors through hiking, gardening, making art, and just playing and exploring outside. I'm also a great cook and very comfortable making and cleaning up after meals and doing general housework. I am in the Napa area until 6/14, and then will be in Santa Cruz starting 6/17. I'm open to one-time gigs or something consistent and part-time. Thanks!
