My skills as far as being a caregiver consist of caring for my mother for over 5 years. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's/Dementia and also was physically impaired being confined to a wheelchair. Therefore, my duties in caring for her consisted of cooking, medication administration, transportation, helped dressing, helped with hygiene, and companionship. The reason why I'm involved in the field of caregiving is because I really enjoy being around elderly individuals and helping them navigate through the many challenges they may face when aging.

Helen is not only one of the most dependable and efficient people I have ever been around, but she is a truly wonderful person to be around and this is rare these days. She is a very joyous and lighthearted person that makes you want to have the best day you can and I think in care-giving this is a standout characteristic that is difficult to find in this field.
