At the age of three, I develop a fear of dogs due to a biting incident from a neighbor's dog. When I was 10, my mother had me walk my neighbor's dogs every morning at 6 a.m. for the summer in order to help me overcome my fear of dogs. And I did! I ended up wanting to adopt my own dog, but with all the responsibilities of taking care of the girls, my mother said no. Eight years later, and I still don't have a dog-although I do have two cats, Snowflake and Bobby socks! Having the former cat for eight years and the latter for four, I have learned the necessary tools to take care of cats. As for dogs, I have taken care of the dogs of friends, family, and neighbors, through which I have also developed the tools in order to be an efficient dog caretaker.
