I have a grown daughter and multiple years of experience from babysitting, to teaching young children English while living in Holland and over 3 years of nannying for families here in St. Pete. I have experience with new borns and twins. I'm a friendly and patient childcare provider who has a desire to make a positive impact on children's lives. My strengths lie in playing outdoor sports and physical games with children, as well as educational games that promote learning. I am fluent in Greek, Dutch and English, have a car and am comfortable caring for two children at a time. Also am a non-smoker and love pets! Lena was absolutely fantastic. She worked full time for us for a number of months before our son went off to daycare. I was a first time mom and struggling with going back to work along with learning how to balance raising our son. She not only took great care of him but was a loving extension of our family and even supported me in my journey as a new mom. I will forever be grateful for her. To this day she still watches our son for date nights. She is caring, thoughtful, intentional, and a great listener. She follows the lead of the parents while also leaning in with her own advice in a very kind way never overstepping. I can’t say enough great things about Lena. One example of her kindness is our son was very sick and she made him a special Greek soup to help him pass the illness. I absolutely was taken back by her gesture. We are grateful for our time with her and if we have another we would hire her in a heartbeat with no reservations.
