Helena here, and it is a pleasure to meet you. In addition to being kind, compassionate, and caring, I was raised in the U. S. Virgin Islands. As the oldest of my siblings, I have always been responsible for caring for people. Consequently, when I was 16, I became a caregiver and never looked back. After growing up with my grandmother and seeing how hardworking she was and how she could barely take care of herself, I felt this was my calling to help the elderly then. During my work with the elderly, I have worked with many types of people ALS, Hospice, dementia, Alzheimer's, etc. I have been an HHA for over 10 years and have worked in a special needs group home. Besides fishing and camping, I enjoy spending time with my family. Looking forward to working with the following family long-term.
