I'm a European mom of four children with experience teaching children of all ages, giving private lessons/tutoring in Art and French. I'm a native speaker of French and Swedish. I'm also an accomplished Artist in Fine Arts. I have a love for children and teaching and a passion for Art and what it contributes in helping a child to develop their full potential of creativity and self esteem. I also believe in the importance of a young person being able to developed her talents and potential that are so much greater at this crucial age and therefore being able to add something that can be a source of joy and ability in the rest of her/his life. My education mostly in Europe and my teaching experience being a mother myself makes it easier to relate an understand children. I strongly believe in contributing in creating a safe, happy and nurturing atmosphere for the child which makes everything else possible.

Helena was my mother's helper for about a year and she is wonderful! I was usually in the house but very quickly I felt comfortable leaving my not-quite-yet-toddler with her if I needed to run out. And if I was nursing or spending time with my girl, Helena would do the dishes, wipe down the counters, fold the laundry, or anything else that needed to be done. But most importantly, she was so gentle and loving with my little one. We miss her terribly and only let her get away because grandma moved to town to serve as permanent childcare. But we will still use Helena for babysitting or anytime grandma isn't available. I highly recommend her. She has a gentle, loving spirit and my little one truly had fun with her whenever she was here.
