About Helena

Hello! My name is Helena and I am a caregiver at heart. I currently work as a dental hygienist, and I am seeking a career change while I am in school obtaining a master's degree in Clinical Counseling / Psychotherapy. I am CPR certified for infants and toddlers and I understand the importance of kids' oral health! I understand developmental stages and specific needs that children have. I am seeking a position that I allows seamless integration between the family and I. In the past, I have worked for families that include daily errands like drips to Target or Trader Joe's along with overnights as needed. I am a very active person, I believe in the importance of fresh air and moving our bodies! I am fairly against screen time, especially if you are paying me to care for and entertain your kids! I have a 2-year-old yellow lab who would love to join us on walks if and when the family feels comfortable. I live near the Scottsdale Quarter splash pad. That is fun for the whole family!
