About Heidi

The Familial Order of the Cat continues to be forged under the esteemed leadership and guidance of Heidi's familial cats. Together they produce objects of devotion using techniques of painting, relief, transfer, collage, sewing, sculpting, and grafting. Acting as an embodied form of self-therapy and a ritualized social practice, Heidi opens conversations regarding more-than-human grief, mourning, cohabitation, labor, and play. Recent work retrofit anthropic domestic furnishings to materialize a built environment for interspecies collaborations in life, death, and the spaces in between.
