I have been in the nursing field for 25 years. I graduated from O. T. Autry Vocational School in 1995 with my C. N. A license. In 2004, I enrolled in the Registered Nursing Program at Northern Oklahoma College. I have worked for private-in-home care, Assisted Living facilities, Long Term Care facilities, Home Health Care agencies, Group Homes and Integris Bass Baptist Hospital and NORCE. I have experience with Elderly, Alzheimer's/Dementia, Hearing/Visually impaired, Stroke patients, Developmentally Disabled adults and children. Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy and ALS. I'm proficient in total care, stand-by assistance, assisting and performing ADL's (activities of daily living), vital signs, medication administration, injections, tube feedings, straight cath/catheter care, wound care and prosthetic care. I am able to assist with meal preparation or do the cooking myself (healthy heart and diabetic), and light housekeeping.
