I can provide tutoring for your child with focus in the areas of English/Language Arts, math, and science. I am a National Merit Scholar and can also assist with standardized test preparation. I have experience teaching English as a Second Language and have also served as a volunteer tutor in reading and math to elementary school students. In college I studied biology and philosophy, and after graduating I worked as a science editor for various academic publications and later for the Ecological Society for America. I have a passion for helping young people gain fluency in reading and in math/science concepts. I will tailor my tutoring to your child's passions and interests (most can be related in some way to science and math)!
