About Heidi

I've been babysitting for family and friends since the age of 14. Where I have always made sure to foster a safe and nurturing environment for the children. Also ensuring an open line of communication with the parents. Further more I have also worked as a Primary School Assistant Teacher and a coach for Girls On the Run. Through this positions I became comfortable with children ranging from the ages of 2-12. Not only that I have learn many strategies to keep children engaged and excited to learn. I currently work as a Team Leader for Jumpstart where I have the privilege to teach pre-k students literacy and language skills that will help them succeed in their future. Most importantly as a Drama student at NYU I firmly believe in imaginative and active play that will engage a young child's mind.
