I am entering my sixth year teaching (dance) full-time. I also have 10 years of substitute experience. In high school, I discovered that I enjoyed helping my peers in math. In college, I spent a year working as a math tutor with CNT. In recent years, I have tutored neighbors on and off. Whether dance or math, I have a passion to help students understand underlying concepts and grow in their critical thinking skills and perseverance. When I'm teaching/tutoring, it is all about the student and adapting my plans to connect with the student and their learning style. I've completed all but one course necessary for a Bachelors in Math, as well as several education courses. Alongside math, I feel comfortable tutoring a variety of other subjects (in English). I do best with students ages 10 and up. I look forward to helping your student find joy and laughter on the pathway to success!
