About Heidi

I've taken care of my father who has now passed.. cared for him for 2 years. This included transportation, shopping and making his meals. Also making sure he took his medication. We would pretend to go fishing in the living room as that brought lots of joy and wonderful memories for him. He did have dementia and at the end just called me sweetheart as he did not know my name. I'd describe my personality as kind, respectful and patient. I like caring for seniors because I love the conversations, learning and giving. I'm looking for a job that is flexible that I can give back using my skills from hospitality. I started caring for seniors when I helped my dad. This was the only time of care giving. I've been around older people since I was 12! In my spare time, I like to Volunteer: Miss Oregon Volunteer Scholarship Pageant. One thing you should know about me is that I communicate and follow through on my jobs and tasks. My skills include : listening, helping, patience ..
