Heather cared for my mom with love and compassion. She made my mom laugh and engaged her in conversation that was relevant to my mom. For example, she asked my mom questions about her childhood, France, our dad and us. She made sure mom ate, was clean and took her outside for walks. My mom called her "my little friend".
