About Heather

I'm a born nurturer with a sunny disposition and a "kindness first" attitude. Kids amaze me because they see everything through fresh eyes! I'm looking to provide care on a set schedule during daytime working hours. I began working with kids when I was still a kid myself. I babysat all through middle school and high school, was a tutor to underprivileged kids in college, and then I raised two of my own! In my spare time I like to run, hike, bike,, knit, read, and spend time with my family and our dogs. I am reliable and professional. I know how much families count on their caregivers, because I was once in their position. Caring for children is a position of trust, and I take it very seriously. My skills include caring for infants, providing engaging learning activities for preschoolers, and teaching children practical life skills.
