I'm passionate about seniors being able to stay in their homes, as I've been caring for my own mother who has lived with me for over eight years. I enjoy helping with everyday tasks that are sometimes taken for granted by able bodied individuals. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, funny, caring. I like caring for seniors because it brings me joy to help individuals who are finding it difficult to do what they used to do. They deserve to be comfortable and happy : ) I'm looking for a job that focuses on helping with everyday tasks, and allows for a flexible schedule. I started caring for seniors when my mom moved in with me eight years ago after my father passed suddenly. In my spare time, I like to relax with my husband and daughter, and care for my pets. One thing you should know about me is that I can empathize with your desire to find excellent care for an aging parent. My skills include assisting with showering and dressing, meal prep, and light housework.
