About Heather

As a skilled childcare provider with 15 years of experience, I'm passionate about nurturing children's growth and development. For the past 5 years I've worked with autistic children as a Registered Behavior Technician, where I've had the privilege of working with children and their families on behavioral goals which bring children closer to living safe and independent lives. I am passionate about supporting families through childcare. Prior to being an RBT, I have worked as a teachers assistant, youth leader, and program manger for an after school program. In my 15 years of experience I've learned how to incorporate fun and engagement into learning and behavior management. I also know the importance of being creative, thinking on one's feet, and treating each child as an individual and catering to those individual needs.
