About Heather

Hi, I'm Heather! I've spent over 10 years dedicated to caring for and guiding children as they grow and I'm excited to start a long-term position with an amazing family. I hold a B. A. in Developmental Psychology from Boston University, and I've worked in various roles from nanny to preschool teacher. I currently lead "Parent & Me" early childhood development classes, where I focus on fostering fine and gross motor skills, social interaction, and emotional regulation. I'm certified in Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, and I have experience working with special needs children, including those with Type-1 Diabetes, ADHD and autism. I'm a strong swimmer with 5 years of lifeguarding experience. When I'm not working, I love practicing yoga, cooking, going to the beach, and spending time with animals. People describe me as caring, organized, and responsible, and I strive to create a warm and supportive environment for the children I care for. I'm available to start early September!
