About Heather

I am an Oregon certified middle school teacher with a math endorsement and have taught (and still teach) math in the classroom to students in Lake Oswego, Oregon. I tutor math and science for grades 6-10 including Algebra 1 and Geometry. I know everyone learns a bit differently and love creating new ways to teach that fit each students learning style and needs. I not only love math but I love children. Middle school and early high school age children bring so much to a classroom as well as a tutor session. Their willingness and effort to learn a subject that they are struggling with always inspires me to be a better teacher. I know school is going to look different for everyone this year and the online aspect will not give your child all the tools they will need to be successful. I would love to help your middle grades child through this new learning environment and give them the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to not only pass their classes !!
