About Heather

Philosophy: I love spending time with children of all ages, and I put a special emphasis on positive communication at their level. I enjoy fostering a sense of wonder for the way our world works, especially in the STEAM areas of learning. I think every activity has the potential to be educational! Education & Qualifications: - I am an EEC Certified Lead Preschool Teacher and Infant/Toddler Teacher - I hold degrees in Elementary Education and Clinical Social Work - I am completing my MSW at Boston University where I focus on child development, behavioral interventions, and family support - I hold current Pediatric & Adult CPR/First Aid/AED certification through American Red Cross Availability: With my current graduate program and forensic social work internship I have a more limited schedule, but I am available for one-time or occasional care and educational support. I am also open to expanding my role in the right placement. I look forward to meeting your family!
