Hi! I'm a friendly retired teacher who enjoys caring for people, plants, and pets. I live in the North bay with my fluffy cat & beautiful rose bushes. I have an MA in English w/a Child Development minor. I've taught in schools from City College of San Francisco to Project HeadStart. I'm a good tutor for test-taking, study skills, English conversation, Public Speaking, Reading, Writing, Literature, and History, and I like helping people with projects. In addition, I love gardening and plants and like to help with any and all gardening projects. Plants and students have taught me that being patient and gentle is usually the best way to do things. I like working with kids because their creativity is so amazing! I started working with kids as a junior coach on my high-school swimming team. Then I began teaching lessons to beginners.
