About Heather

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, communicative and committed. I like caring for seniors because it is my passion and mission in life to care for those unable to care for themselves and give back to the community. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to use my nursing skills and improve the quality of life one patient at a time. I started caring for seniors when I started caring for seniors as a Nursing assistant, over 20 years ago. In my spare time, I like to play with my dog Biggie, road trips, cooking and shopping. One thing you should know about me is I am a passionate caring Nurse, with experience working as a Director of Nursing. The largest facility I ran was 150 beds. I have stepped out of the role to have better work life balance and to be able to impact patients and families on a more personal level. My skills include comprehensive nursing assessment, therapeutic communication and holistic nursing care delivery.
