About Heather

Hello! My name is Heather. I graduated from the Univ. of Alabama in 2008 with a degree in Human Environmental Sciences and a major in Early Childhood Education. After graduating from college, I moved to NYC. While in NY, I was a nanny and a personal assistant for a year and a half. I then moved back to Birmingham, AL in 2010 where I was a Early Childhood Teacher and nanny for 6 years. I have experience working with newborns all the way through teenagers. I also have experience as a Office/Personal Assistant. In 2012, I went back to school at the UAB where I received a degree in Social Work. I have a passion for missions work and I've served in over 12 countries backpacking across Asia. Since 2016 I have worked in the non-profit sector helping women and young girls who have experienced trauma. I'm currently looking to transition out of this work into a different role for a season. I enjoy nature, photography and other creative hobbies in my free time and I love going on adventures!

Heather is a lovely Christian woman who is great with children, housekeeping AND reorganizing, alike. She is proactive and a joy to have around, as well as a positive influence for all. Would hire her full-time if we could do so. Thankful for all her time with us!
