About Heather

I'm a volunteer EMT. I have been doing BLS medical transport since Feb 2024. I worked as a PCT in NJ Hackensack Meridian Ocean Med Ctr for 9 yrs on a med surgical telemetry unit w/ 40 beds. My patient ratio 1:15. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, easy going and caring. I like caring for seniors because I feel like caring for them is an important part of service to my community. I'm looking for a job that gives me satisfaction and a sense of purpose. I started caring for seniors when I was in my early 20s when my father opened up his own business doing in home elderly care after he retired from the NJ dept of corrections. In my spare time, I like to do yoga, work out at the gym, go on walks, jogs, swims... anything outdoors. One thing you should know about me is I am hard working and communicate well. I am passionate about caring for people and safety is a high priority. My skills include everything personal care, companionship and cooking
