For the past 20 years, I have taught primary elementary students with special needs. I have decided to leave public education in order to have more flexibility with my schedule in order to be more available for family obligations. I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Special Education. My specialty is in autism, although I have worked with a variety of kiddos within the mild/moderate setting. I believe in providing a fun and safe learning experience to help students experience success. This, in turn, provides them with confidence needed to progress towards reaching their fullest learning potential.
