About Heather

Hi! I'm a mom in her 40s and have 20+ years' experience caring for children from 0-13 years old. I am comfortable caring for up to three children at a time. I'm mostly available on nights and weekends to babysit and can do so at my home. We live in Buford in the Deaton Farm subdivision and have a large fenced in yard. I have a college degree and am trauma-informed. I've spent 10+ years in parenting classes to support foster families and am currently a supporting mentor. I love playing board games, card games, and puzzles to have fun and promote learning. I can also help with transportation, outside events, and errands. During my care, I am happy to periodically text updates and pictures of your child so you know how they are doing. I haven't been on this site for long so I don't have many reviews; however, I do have some references that are happy to talk with you. I cannot recommend Heather highly enough! They took exceptional care of my child, providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Their professionalism and warm demeanor put both me and my child at ease. They were attentive, patient, and went above and beyond to ensure my child was happy, entertained, and well cared for. Their communication was excellent, keeping me updated & with photos reassured me throughout. She also has a child, and he was the sweetest with my son. I did not feel he was being overlooked. I am truly grateful for her dedication and would not hesitate to have her babysit again. If you’re looking for someone reliable and wonderful with children, Heather is the perfect choice!
