About Heather

I've been a dedicated childcare provider for over a decade working in school and clinical settings with a variety of children from different cultural and developmental backgrounds. I'm patient, friendly, and approachable, and I believe in open and respectful communication with parents. I follow the parents' preferred method of communication and am happy to provide regular updates and photos about their child's day or any issues that arise. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time, and I have experience with a wide range of age groups. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including board games, puzzles, educational games, and technology-based games. I also enjoy sensory experiences and arts and crafts. I recently received my SLPA license. I'm fluent in both English and have some basic communication knowledge in American Sign Language (ASL). I am also familiar with AAC's specifically Touch Chat or picture systems.
