About Heather

I'm an occupational therapy student with one year of experience as a childcare provider, ready to make a positive impact on children's lives! My passion is improving people's lives across the lifespan through engaging in their meaningful activities, including play and leisure! I'm patient, calm, creative, and imaginative, and I strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment for everyone to learn and grow. I believe in open communication with caregivers and will provide regular updates on their child or adult's day and any issues that arise. I'm comfortable following the caregivers' lead in enforcing household rules. My favorite types of games to play are board games and puzzles, outdoor sports and physical games, and educational games that promote learning. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children, ages 4 to 11, children with special needs and neurodivergence, and older adults. I have a car, so transportation isn't an issue.
