Hello, My name is Heather. I retired in February from Essex County Division of Welfare after 28 years of service. My main reason for retiring was to care for my mother who had mid stage dementia. Mom recently passed away and I'm looking to get out of the house a few days a week. I have lived in Whippany for 31 years. I am the mother of 4 adult children. I enjoy reading, cooking, hiking, and riding 4 wheelers with my husband. I have worked in the past as a companion to a 97-year-old woman living in assisted living. I also worked as a recreation therapist in a nursing home. My main priority will be offering companionship to your loved one, however I am also willing to cook, clean, and do laundry.
