Hi! My name is Heather and I am a retired public school teacher. I have 27 years of elementary classroom experience primarily in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd grades but have taught 4th, and 6th as well. I retired in 2022 and have spent the last two years providing in-home tutoring and homework help to families in South Orange County. I have experience in reading instruction, and intervention/comprehension strategies particularly for students with ADHD. I can help teach and reinforce various academic concepts in both general and special education subject areas. I thoroughly enjoy working with kids of all ages and abilities and look forward to meeting you and helping your child grow.
