I am a mother myself, single mom raising 3 kids for most of their life. My kids are now 13 (son), 15(son), and 16 (daughter) years old. All 3 have sports/ after-school activities all year round, so I know just how busy and stressful life can be. Both my boys are ADHD along with my youngest son, who also has a form of autism. It takes a lot of patience and understanding on a daily basis to raise children with behavioral issues, emotional setbacks, and who learns/retains information differently than most. With kids in general, they need rules, routines, sternness, and consequences... along with patience, love, understanding, and space to discover themselves and to grow into amazing human beings.
