About Heather

Hello there! My name is Heather, I graduated from the University of Maryland (Spring 2022) where I studied math and operations management. I have worked as a Data Engineering Analyst for the past two years. I am beginning a master's of social work at the end of August and have open availability this summer for tutoring and nanny positions. I have experience working as a camp counselor for 3 years, which has taught me relationship-building skills in various age ranges. I have worked with 6-9-year-olds and 12/13-year-olds. I have always enjoyed working with students and tutoring my peers + children. I was a teaching assistant at UMD for 3 semesters for 2 different courses. During this time, I learned how to teach technical material and held office hours to clarify and affirm information with practice.
