About Heather

I graduated from Sonoma State University with a BA in Early Childhood Education and plan to return to school for my Teaching Credential in the Fall of 2023. I have had multiple years of experience working in this field. I started out babysitting and working for my church preschool and nursery program when I was in high school and have since gotten multiple jobs and gained experience by teaching or volunteering in classrooms. I have volunteered in a bilingual preschool classroom - Gold Ridge Preschool in Rohnert Park. I have worked with the children's department at the Swim/Tennis club in Auburn, CA and have worked multiple summers with the summer camp program. I have worked at the Children's School at Sonoma State University as a preschool teacher, gaining a multitude of rich experiences. I now work part time at Mixed Greens Preschool in Cotati. I work to educate and empower young children, emphasize outdoor education and hope to have an impact on the lives of children.
