I raised 2 boys with ADHD, Impulse Control Disorder, Anxiety, Bipolor Disorder and now I have 3 grandchildren 1 with ADHD & on the Autism spectrum, 1 with severe autism & 1 with absence seizures so I know how hard it can be, especially dealing with schools & doctors, IEPs & IBMPs. I also worked as a care giver for years in a State Developmental Center dealing with severe mental and physical handicapped adults. I have spent years as a direct care staff & also writing detailed objectives on ADLS, in-servicing staff on implementing those objectives, recording data & writing monthly reviews. As a direct care staff I handled all of the day to day care for the clients including ADLs, medicines, General medical care and monitoring.
