I am CPR certified, I've completed the Nurturing Parenting Program and I'm currently working on my masters in Counseling Psychology. I am a firm believer in healthy eating and staying active. In the past I've taken the children I've cared for to the library for story time, music classes, educational events, local attractions and organized play dates. I love spending time with children and supporting them as they grow and develop into unique, creative, and shining individuals. I feel strongly about the importance of reading at all ages, cultivation imagination and including children in one' s routine so they can learn to be helpful, patient and develop healthy communication skills.

Heather was a nanny for over a year to my three children, ages 5, 3 and 1. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we have ever made for our children. I can truly say she enriched all of our lives. She is dependable, trustworthy, capable, self-motivated, intelligent, fun and incredibly patient. Any parent knows the chaos that comes with small children, and I never saw Heather become impatient; she is always calm, in control and unflappable in any situation. She has excellent judgement and instincts when it comes to handling discipline issues in a positive, peaceful way. She reads to the children constantly, helps them build life skills like preparing food, teaches them to help with chores, takes them outside and on outings, plays games, organizes craft projects, and plays well in their imaginative world. She has been a huge help around the house and I can truly say that she made our home a happier, more peaceful place.
