About Heather

I have always enjoyed interacting with children of all ages. I would really consider it a passion of mine. I have many years of experience as a childcare provider throughout my life, I am confident in my ability to provide excellent care for your little ones. I have an 18-month-old daughter who is the joy of my life. I started early working with kids as daycare worker in my late teens. In my early 20s I worked as an after school teacher at the ymca as well as a lunch aid at Tamarisk elementary. I spent 8 years in the Navy during which I took a job nannying after school. I have a bachelor's degree in art and enjoy doing all sorts of arts & craft projects. I love being silly with kids, and my creative nature allows me to foster a fun and safe environment for your kids. I prefer to stay engaged in all types of activities rather than the use of screens. I am comfortable enforcing house rules and will always keep open and transparent communication. I'm happy caring for children all ages.
