About Heather

As a passionate and experienced childcare provider with 20 years in the field, I find great joy in nurturing the growth and development of children. My previous babysitting roles were incredibly rewarding, and inspired me to pursue a career where I could have a positive impact on young lives. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. Patience, creativity, and friendliness are central to my approach, and I pride myself on open and effective communication with parents, whether through written daily reports or regular updates via text or phone calls. Regarding household rules, I believe in following the parents' lead and ensuring consistency. I love playing board games and puzzles with children, as well as educational games that make learning fun. With my background in early childhood education, including coursework in early child development, I am also First Aid and CPR certified.
