About Heather

Hello, I would describe myself to be creative, patient and reliable person. As a middle child growing up, I helped my younger brother with his homework and had times I worked with my younger cousins with their writing and reading skills. However through that experience, I came to realize I enjoy working with kids and had been a volunteer in high-school for the organization, ASPIRA, and worked as a tutor for the program, Read Alliance. As of today, a first year in Fordham University, I plan to pursue in a career that involves helping kids. In other words, I would be grateful for those that do choose to work with me, as through these experiences I gain, it helps me practice the skills I will be implementing in the future.
