About Hayley

I am looking for part-time (2-3 days a week/flexible) employment as a Care Companion. Last year I worked for a Hospice nonprofit as a Volunteer Coordinator. A large part of my job was conducting field assessments for our volunteers to ensure protocol, boundaries, and answer any questions or concerns volunteers had regarding patients and their families. I have worked for individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia in professional and personal settings. I understand the associated symptoms and the level of compassion and patience that is needed when working with this population. In addition, in 2011 I worked for a Community Development Group as a Direct Care Instructor. I assisted developmentally and physically disabled adults to integrate into the community by implementing recreational and social activities, promoted pain management techniques and coping methods to enable a better quality of life.
