My name is Haydee. I live in Rockville 20853. Since 1991, I have been taking care of children of all ages. I had worked for years as a nanny before and had also worked for two years as teacher assistant in a nursery school. Right now, I'm looking for a pat-time or full time position to take of your child/children at your place or mine. I have excellent references available from several families that I had/have cared their infants, toddlers and older kids. For some families I am watching their kids at my place and for others at their places. I'm flexible on location (it depends on distance and the quantity of hours). Please, give me the opportunity to take care your child/children and I will show you my great skills of nurturing little minds with appropriate activities for each age, and I will also show you my patience and love for children. We initially hired Haydee in October 2024 to fill in for a couple of weeks. But, once we saw how AMAZING she was with our (now) 6 month old, we asked her to be our full time nanny without hesitation! Haydee is extremely attentive to the baby's needs/development areas and progress. She truly treats our son as her own and goes above and beyond just 'child care'. For example, she noticed that our son was easily startled by loud noises so she would frequently walk him towards a construction site in our neighborhood so he could see the trucks and get used to their loud noises. Same with being around new people... she would frequently take him to the park so he's around other kids and adults, and would even make friends with the other nannies in the neighborhood to coordinate play time. With these two progressions, we were able to take our son on his first international trip with no issues on the plane! Another area that Haydee helps out in is recommending toys/eating utensils/foods that are age-appropriate. Haydee is always punctual, self-sufficient around the house, calm, and patient. We fully trust her with our baby and wish we could keep her full time moving forward.
