About Haven Joelle

With over 9 years of tutoring experience, I am dedicated to empowering students to reach their learning goals. I graduated from Biola University with a B. S. in Physical Science, a minor in Mathematics, and a minor in Biblical Studies. As a tutor, I take the time to understand each student's individual needs, allowing me to tailor lessons, fill in knowledge gaps, and guide them to higher-level thinking. I enjoy helping students make connections across the curriculum and showing how the material relates to real-life applications, helping students feel more engaged and confident in their learning. When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy spending time with my husband, climbing, hiking, and practicing yoga.
