I started working with kids when I was about 14 years old. We got a sudden call one evening and my family got custody of my nephew who was 3 months old. I was a little mother hen with that sweet little baby. I was always with him or holding him because we were best buddies. When he became older, I would sometimes have to stay home with him while my parents went to work. He's 10 now and he's still my little buddy:) My skills include: 1) making up the best games. I'll keep them kids busy and make it fun! 2) I'm extremely patient with children. I think I hear my son say "mommy" at least 100 times a day. That's where the games come in;) 3) I like to think I'm really good at talking to kids. I bet I can get your kid to pick up all their toys and enjoy it!
