The past year of my life has been devoted to helping mentally ill adults with Brain traumatic injuries in a long term care facility. In that facility I worked as a behavioral health aide and had the pleasure of getting to know many different kinds of people. I have worked with dementia patients, patients with severe autism, patients with bipolar depression and so on. After working with clients who have both cognitive and psychical limitations I have discovered the passion in my heart for caring for those who need extra help. My goal is to brighten the lives of people around me and create a safe environment where they feel cared for and can be themselves. Everyone deserves to be loved and cared no matter a person's ability.
